# Features

## ✨ Core Features

Destroy The Core is a highly customizable event plugin designed to drive massive player engagement and competitive PvP across your server.

Below is a complete breakdown of the features included in the plugin.

#### ⚔️ Automated Event Management

Automated Event Scheduling > Configure specific cores to start automatically at designated times using a 24-hour clock format. The plugin utilizes a configurable timezone setting to ensure accurate event starts.

Live Schedule Viewing > Players can use an in-game command to view a live countdown of all upcoming scheduled events.

Manual Control > Administrators can seamlessly start, force-stop, or teleport directly to any registered core via in-game commands without touching the config files.

Multi-Core Support > Create and manage multiple registered cores simultaneously, with the ability to view all of them in an organized in-game list.

#### 🎁 Dynamic Reward System

Weighted Reward Drops > Set up a randomized reward pool where each reward has a specific weight to determine its rarity and chance to drop.

Guaranteed Drops & Limits > Mark specific rewards to "always drop" for the winner, and specify exactly how many random rewards should be distributed per win.

Duplicate Prevention > Optionally prevent the same random reward from being given to a player twice during a single win.

Command Execution > Rewards execute custom console commands, utilizing placeholders to seamlessly give items, economy balances, or execute global broadcasts.

#### 🛠️ In-Game Configuration & Setup

Interactive Setup Wand > Use a dedicated in-game wand tool to left-click and select the exact physical block to register as a new core location.

Customizable Core Attributes > Define the specific block material required (e.g., OBSIDIAN, BEACON) and the total number of breaks needed to destroy each individual core.

In-Game Management > Create new cores, permanently delete existing ones, or reset a specific player's win statistics entirely from within the game.

#### 📊 Player Statistics & Holograms

Integrated Holograms > Displays a floating hologram directly above the core block that actively tracks the current amount of times the core has been broken versus the total breaks required.

Third-Party Hooks > Seamlessly integrates with DecentHolograms and HolographicDisplays for high-quality hologram rendering.

Win Tracking > Automatically tracks and stores the total number of core wins for each individual player.

Leaderboards & Stats > Players can view their personal win statistics via commands, and administrators have access to a leaderboard system to showcase top players.

#### ⚙️ Backend & Storage Flexibility

Multi-Database Storage > Choose exactly how your event and player data is stored.

Storage Options > Fully supports local JSON files for single servers, SQLite databases, or external high-performance MySQL databases for large networks.

Customizable Sounds & Messages > Fully customize all chat messages, command aliases, and specific Spigot sound effects for when a core is hit, destroyed, or when commands are executed.
